Pizza, what a passion!

Pizza is perhaps one of the most loved foods by Italians; at lunch or dinner, pizza is excellent at any time of the day and week!

But if we want to eat a good pizza in Rimini, where should we go?

As good Romagnoli, we love good food and nice eating experiences, so we tried many pizza places of all types and prices, and we compiled a list of our favorites.

Obviously, we distinguish between Gourmet Pizza, Neapolitan Pizza, and what we could call “Classic” Pizza, without making unnecessary arguments about which one’s the best.

The pizzas that stole our hearts

Pizza Italia —  Neapolitan Pizza

Strictly Neapolitan management, no-frills place and focused on food. Specialty: everything. Also recommended are calzoni, saltimbocca, and fried pizza.
Managed with love by the kind Enzo, second-generation pizza chef.

Where it is: Viale Guglielmo Marconi, 33/a Miramare

Il Cortile in Centro — Gourmet Pizza

Very suggestive location in the historic center of Rimini, a green corner in the city… in fact the place is surrounded by climbing plants and flowers!
It specializes in gourmet pizzas with very particular and unusual but very tasty combinations … since they are high-quality gourmet pizzas, the prices are a little higher.

Mastro Pizza Napoletana — Neapolitan Pizza

They mainly do delivery and take-out, but they also have a few tables available. The location is not the most suggestive, because it is located … behind a petrol station on the provincial road. But it is a real gem with a strong Neapolitan touch. Both round and “by the meter” pizza is recommended. The ‘Mastro Napoletano’ frying is incredible: a mixture of crocchè, omelets, and zeppoline… to die for!

Where it is: Via Flaminia, 391 Rimini (di fronte a Fiabilandia, dietro al Q8)

Pizzeria Sp.accio — Gourmet Pizza

Panoramic view of the Rimini hinterland countryside. Within the community of San Patrignano, an excellence of the gourmet pizzeria. Contemporary furnishings and an adjoining small shop to take home some typical products.

Where it is: Via S. Patrignano, 66 Coriano RN

Pizzeria del Secolo — Sliced Pizza

Ok, it’s not a restaurant and it only does take-out but it is a real institution for Rimini’s street food. If you find yourself strolling around the city center, get inside and grab a square of pizza, you will not regret it.

Lo Zodiaco — Classic Pizza

Lo Zodiaco has several advantages: it is spacious and it’s easy to find a table (but it is always better to book in advance), the pizza is always good it is also a good fish restaurant, where you can eat well without spending too much money.
It is certainly not an intimate or romantic place, the staff is always very busy, but if the goal is a good pizza, that’s what you get.

Where it is: Viale Regina Margherita, 159 Rivazzurra di Rimini
